SheetDiff does NOT collect:

Local Data Storage
SheetDiff stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Comparison History: A record of recent file comparisons (file names and timestamps only)
- User Preferences: Theme settings, language preferences, and UI configurations
All this data remains on your local device and is never transmitted elsewhere.
2. Data Processing
Local Processing
All file comparison operations are performed entirely on your local device:
- Excel Parsing: Files are read and parsed locally using SheetJS library
- Cell Comparison: All difference calculations happen in your browser/app
- Formula Detection: Formula extraction is performed locally
No Cloud Processing
SheetDiff does not send your files to cloud services for processing. All operations run locally using your device's resources.
3. Third-Party Services
SheetDiff does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The application operates completely offline once installed.
4. Data Security
Since all data remains on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:
- Keeping your operating system updated
- Using strong device passwords
- Enabling full-disk encryption
- Regular security backups
5. Data Deletion
You can delete all SheetDiff data at any time by:
- Clearing comparison history from the application settings
- Uninstalling the application (which removes all local data)
- Manually deleting the application's data directory
6. Children's Privacy
SheetDiff does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
